I wish we had seen Mark years ago instead of waiting until our marriage was on the brink. It would have saved us a lot of arguments and misunderstanding, but we kept trying to fix it ourselves. I had never seen a Counsellor before so it was a big step. Mark made us feel comfortable and provided a space to say things that we have never said to each other. After a few sessions we now understand each other on a deeper level and are so much stronger together. Very grateful :)

After many years of poor communication between my husband and I, we decided to give couples counselling a try. I decided to go with Mark as I felt my husband would feel comfortable. Mark gave us lots of strategies to use and talk about and this helped us both to open up more within our marriage and put these into practice. After a couple of rocky starts, we could both see where we were going wrong and with marks guidance, we got through it.Before seeing mark, I had divorce paperwork ready to go and was willing to walk away from our 22 year marriage, but after seeing mark and learning to understand about what makes a marriage tick and give and take and be open, my husband and I are now on the same page, back on track and will be renewing our vows next year.Mark keeps it real, raw and he understands what life and marriage is about and we both thank him for his help to get us through this.

A month ago my husband and I after 28 years felt distant, sad, rejected, and we both deserve better. Mentally drained, we reached out to see if there was hope. I chose a Man because I wanted my husband to feel safe but not get let off lightly. Mark was the best breath of fresh air into our relationship we could of ever asked for. His positive affirmations, directness, no stone left unturned (with care and understanding of the implications) approach, has brought out the best in my husband, finding someone I hadnt seen in years. Of course I am finding my own strengths and weakeness. I dont believe anyone else could have awakened our relationship truth like Mark, and in such a calm, safe, soul searching way. I dont know how he gets my husband to talk like that. Its very positive.

I highly recommend working with Alexandra. I felt at ease from our initial appointment. Meeting with her doesn't feel clinical and I leave feeling heard and able to digest and reflect on our sessions afterward. Previous experience with therapy left me exhausted and emotionally drained. We started seeing Tegan in May at a very big breaking point in our relationship. We both couldn’t see how we could get back on track, our marriage had fallen apart. Tegan guided us through EFT and it has changed our relationship completely. We have better communication and understanding for each other. Teagan was a very compassionate and caring therapist when I was going through honestly the worst time of my life. She started out as my marriage counsellor but then I began to see her privately on my own. Every time I left a session with Teagan I felt strong and empowered and built up again. She made me realise my self worth again and that I am worthy of love just as I am. I found her to be a really good listener and very empathetic, a mix between a therapist and your best friend. If it wasn’t for Teagan I wouldn’t be where I am today in my healing journey, in fact I may not be on a healing journey at all.

Married for 33 years we had hit a slump. Taking this time away to focus on rebuilding our relationship and “safe haven” has been life changing. We are both so much more connected and happy…it’s awesome. Our counsellor Suzanne was warm, friendly, understanding and strong. She provided us with a safe and kind space to have deep conversations that were needed. We know we need to keep working on our relationship, there is no magic pill, but Suzzane has provided us with some great tools to assist. Worth every cent to have this experience. We had Suzanne for the couple's retreat a couple of months ago and the service that Suzanne provided was very flexible around dates and time of when we could do the retreat. My husband and I flew from interstate and both agree it was very worth the trip and 2 months on we are a different couple than what we used to be. We are more positive to each other and discuss things together rather than argue and blame. We both communicate a lot better than before and often talk about how amazing Suzanne was and how she changed our relationship. I highly recommend Suzanne and the retreat! Our 2-day couples retreat with Karen was a really positive experience. The intensive format allowed for clarification and focused attention to destabilizing patterns at depth. We’re now better able to avoid routine conflicts and are working with more skills to heal long-standing disputes and hurt feelings. Karen guided us skillfully, and we both felt like she was on our side as individuals, and as a couple. The comfortable and spacious accommodation was ideal to support this intensive work – whether walking down to the waterfall and rock pool, sitting on the deck watching dusk fall above the ridge line, or enjoying the morning kookaburra chorus across the valley - the environment was a really memorable counterbalance for our flexibly-held sessions.

Karen Higginbottom was so caring and intelligent with her approach to us and our situation. Karen helped us identify the cycle that led to frequent arguments. She broke down our experiences into micro moments so that we could identify our triggers, realise our needs and catch ourselves before things escalated with a conscious pause before we reacted. This allowed for more respectful responses and a feeling of being listened to and understood. She taught us about our emotional and logical brain and when these fire up. We managed to find a better understanding of our needs for intimacy and how to get them met too. All this within 3 sessions! (she recommends 8) We both feel supported and completely settled.
